Sleeping In

Is it just me or does it seem like every time you try to sleep in the phone rings, somebody knocks on the door, or your little brother just comes in and wakes you up by asking annoying questions? Well, it happened to me today. I was sleep and somebody knocks on the door, which I didn't answer. Later to find out it was just some kids wanting my little brother to come outside and play. It didn't help that the sunlight was shinning through my window, and I couldn't get back into a comfortable position. It never fails, something is destined to keep you from getting more rest. Then you go into the kitchen to see if any breakfast is cooked, and if not you just lay back in the bed until you feel like getting up and starting your day. Then once you finally get up you're faced with chores and homework. I should have slept in longer.

  1. Yeah, but it's not people who wake me up, it's my cats. They aren't on daylight savings time, so they wake me up at the crack of dawn!
